Two people were killed in a crash near the 57 Freeway in Anaheim early Monday, according to the Anaheim Police Department.
The single vehicle crash was reported shortly after 12:30 a.m. on the 2500 block of E. Katella Avenue.
According to police, the car crashed into a tree near the off-ramp of the 57 Freeway. The fiery crash left the two occupants inside the vehicle dead.
The car was described as a green Jeep Liberty that was registered out of the city of Orange, police said.
It was not clear what caused the car to crash.
No further details were immediately available.
