A fatal crash prompted a closure of northbound I-65 south of Hobart, Ind. late Saturday afternoon, state police said.
Around 5:45 p.m., a fatal crash occurred on northbound I-65 north of US-30, authorities said.
Indiana State Police were headed to the scene as of 7 p.m., Sergeant Glen Fifield said on social media.
“Fatal crash on I – 65 northbound north of US 30. PIO will be headed to the scene,” Fifield said.
Fifield also urged people to “seek alternative routes as this will be a lengthy road closure.”
