Mom, young daughter reported missing from Humboldt Park

Chicago police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 4-year-old girl and her mother who were last seen Friday.

According to authorities, 26-year-old Heidy Garcia Soriano picked up her 4-year-old daughter Ashley Lobato from day care on Friday, and the two have not been seen since.

The pair was reported missing from the 1300 block of North Springfield, and Soriano’s vehicle was located nearby, according to authorities.

Ashley is described as a Hispanic girl with fair complexion, with black hair and brown eyes. She stands 3-feet tall and weighs 35 pounds.

Heidy is described as a Hispanic woman, standing 5-feet-7 inches tall and weighing 110 pounds. She has medium complexion, with black hair and brown eyes.
