Costco has issued a major recall for a popular ready-to-eat meal due to possible Salmonella, according to a recall notice.
The recall notice, posted to Costco’s website, impacts Item No. 30782 Meatloaf with Mashed Yukon Potatoes and Glaze sold between March 2, 2026 and March 13, 2026, the notice said. It was sold at Costco stores in more than two dozen states, including Illinois and Wisconsin.
Costco made the announcement after one of the meal’s ingredient suppliers, Griffith Foods, said one of the ingredients in the meatloaf may be contaminated with Salmonella, an organism that can cause serious or even fatal infections in children, older people, people who are pregnant or those with weakened immune systems.
No injuries or illnesses related to the recall have been reported, the recall notice said.
Customers were urged to not consume the products and return them to Costco stores for a full refund.
