An investigation was underway after a man was stabbed during an argument at the Western Avenue station along the CTA Blue Line, authorities said.
The incident was reported at around 12:20 a.m. Saturday in the 1900 block of North Western Avenue at the station in the Logan Square neighborhood. According to police, a 30-year-old man got into an argument with another man on the train platform. The other individual pulled out a sharp object and stabbed the victim before fleeing on foot.
The victim sustained a puncture wound to the left hand and was taken to the hospital in good condition.
No arrests had been made as of Saturday afternoon.
