More than 30 people were injured when a tour bus headed from Chicago to a Michigan casino crashed in Green Bay, Wisconsin, authorities said.
Police said the bus was traveling to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula on Sunday when it took an exit in Green Bay, went through an intersection and down an embankment. Thirty-three people were injured and taken to area hospitals.
Two people were said to be in critical condition, and a number of those injured were reported to be elderly.
Fifty-four people were on board at the time.
A passenger told WGBA, the NBC affiliate in Green Bay, the bus was headed to Island Resort & Casino in Harris, Mich.
The crash remained under investigation as of Sunday evening.
