Chicago police released an image on Saturday of a man who they are searching for after he attacked an elderly man while on a CTA platform last weekend.
In a Community Alert, authorities said the man attacked an elderly person around 3:09 p.m. on March 21 on the Belmont station CTA platform in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood.
He is described by police as a Black man wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt, black jeans and white gym shoes. In the picture released by police, he is carrying two boxes of Pepsi soda cans.
Police asked anyone with information to contact Public Transportation Detectives at 312-745-4447. Tips can also be submitted anonymously here using reference RD JK189284.
