Oak Park-native Olympian Emery Lehman showed fans at the Blackhawks game on Tuesday that his skills in an ice rink aren’t limited to speed skating.
Lehman, who earned a silver medal at the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics, stepped out onto the ice at the United Center to take a shot at the ‘shoot the puck’ challenge during halftime of the Blackhawks game against the Winnipeg Jets.
Wearing his silver medal, Lehman took a shot at goal from center ice and scored.
As the crowd went wild, his hand shot up into the air in victory.
The Blackhawks themselves weren’t as successful on Tuesday as Lehman, falling 4-3 to the Jets in overtime.
