Two people were being treated at a Chicago-area hospital after a shooting on the Bishop Ford Freeway early Sunday, authorities said.
The shooting occurred in the northbound lanes of the interstate at around 1:24 a.m. near 115th Street. According to police, two people self-transported to an area hospital with reported injuries.
The northbound lanes were closed following the shooting, with traffic being diverted at 130th Street.
State police said all lanes had reopened by 3:30 a.m.
