At least 10 police vehicles with lights activated could be seen blocking an intersection near a branch of the Chicago Public Library in the city’s Pilsen neighborhood Wednesday evening, as seen on video posted to social media.
Around 8 p.m., a large police response could be seen near 1800 South Blue Island Avenue in video posted on social media.
It was not immediately clear what the police response was for or if it was related to the library.
No additional information was immediately available.
