3 injured, 1 critically, in Albany Park neighborhood, Chicago police say

Three men are recovering at area hospitals after they were shot in the Albany Park neighborhood Sunday morning.

According to Chicago police, the men were standing outside in the 2900 block of West Irving Park Road at approximately 2:47 a.m. when a woman opened fire.

One of the victims, a 37-year-old man, was shot multiple times, and he was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition, police said.

A 38-year-old man was shot in the leg, and a 31-year-old man was shot in the calf, and both were taken to area hospitals in fair condition, according to police.

The assailant in the shooting remains at-large, and an investigation remains underway.
