Suspect flees on foot following fatal hit-and-run crash in San Marcos

San Diego Sheriff Deputies are looking for a suspect who took off on foot after fatally hitting a person with their car near N Pacific Street and Capalina Road in San Marcos just after 8:30 p.m. Saturday.

Authorities say they found two cars at the scene, and it is unknown if the person who died was inside or outside their vehicle when they were hit.

At this time there is no suspect description.
