San Diego Humane Society held its 27th Annual ‘Walk For Animals’ in North County Saturday morning.
Officials at the Humane Society said more than 1,000 people walked nearly 600 dogs at Kit Carson Park. This year’s walk raised nearly $140,000 dollars for animal rescue programs, wildlife rehab and community support at the humane society.
Another walk for animals will be held on May 2, 2026 at NTC Park in Liberty Station.
