The Prince George’s County Animal Shelter needs your help.
There are less than 24 hours for people to adopt dogs that are in danger of being euthanized, with the deadline at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
The shelter is severely overcrowded and rescue groups throughout the region are stretched thin.
People have already stepped up adopting or fostering 18 dogs, but there are still some in need of forever homes.
You can apply online but since time is quickly running out, people may need to go in-person to get approved in time.
The shelter is also looking for fosters for these dogs.
Head to the Friends of the Prince George’s County Animal Shelter’s Facebook page to see which dogs are available.
