Three people were injured after a Metrobus crashed into Ambar, a popular Northwest D.C. restaurant, Saturday morning along Q and 7th Streets.
The Metrobus was involved in a crash with another vehicle and then plowed into the restaurant.
No one was inside the business at the time of the collision, according to investigators.
News4 has learned the three women who were injured — the bus driver, a bus passenger and the driver of the other vehicle — were taken to a hospital.
The crash is still under investigation. Metro and D.C. police are working to determine what led to the crash.
The front door and windows could be seen boarded up with wood Saturday evening.
The bus was removed from the building, and D.C. Fire’s special operations say there were no major structural integrity issues.
