Easter Sunday will be a day of transition as a cold front approaches and passes through the DMV. You will notice more clouds in the morning. Sunrise services are expected to be dry. Showers will move east with the cold front, providing showers for D.C. and the surrounding areas late morning into the early afternoon. Drier conditions return late in the afternoon and early in the evening.
The cold front will bring cooler air, with temperatures falling through the afternoon and evening. Winds will also be strong at times, gusting around 20-30 mph.
Cooler air will be felt in the first half of the workweek, especially in the morning, with lows falling into the 30s and 40s.
