Storm Team4 Forecast: Enjoy mild weekend before heat wave arrives

A chilly Friday morning with areas of frost for some and fog for others will turn into a perfectly nice, sunny and warm afternoon.

Highs will be well up into the 70s this afternoon ahead of a weak cold front that will arrive late tonight.

Clouds will increase Friday evening, and a few sprinkles of rain are possible as the front passes between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. Those overnight clouds won’t last much past sunrise on Saturday, but they will help to hold overnight lows in the milder 50s.

The remainder of your Saturday will be sunny and mild, but about 10° cooler than Friday.

Northwest winds on Saturday will turn to the southeast on Sunday. This will bring in milder air and some additional cloud cover.

Sunday will remain dry with highs in the low to mid-70s.

Near record-high temps next week

Southwest winds arrive on Monday, delivering near record-high temperatures for several days next week.

Most of the area will get above 80° on Monday and reach the upper 80s on Tuesday.

Wednesday and Thursday both have a better than 50/50 chance to get into the 90s!

We will cool down a bit after that, but temperatures are likely to stay well above average (66°) all the way into next weekend without any significant amount of rain in sight.
