SEPTA officials were able to help law enforcement track down a man accused of robbing a bank in Center City on Tuesday afternoon, according to officials.
The robbery happened at the Citizens Bank on Market Street between 7th and 8th streets in Center City, Philadelphia, on Dec. 2, officials said.
SEPTA police told NBC10 that the suspect used the train to escape the scene after the robbery and thanks to their surveillance cameras, he was tracked down and arrested at the 2nd Street Huntington Station.
No word yet on how much money the suspect got away with or his identity.
According to the Philadelphia Police Department, an investigation into this incident is being handled by the FBI Violent Crime Task Force
