Two men were stabbed on a northbound Broad Street line train on Wednesday afternoon, causing the route to skip the Girard Station northbound on New Year’s Eve, SEPTA spokesperson John Golden told NBC10.
The incident occurred at around 4 p.m., Golden said, but what caused the stabbings is not yet known.
The two unidentified men are in stable condition and the B1, B2 and B3 Broad Street lines continue — as of 6:48 p.m. — to skip the Girard Station due to the ongoing investigation.
