Police are warning residents in Montgomery County to avoid an area of East Norriton on Monday night as they surround a home where a person is barricaded inside, officials say.
According to the East Norriton Police Department, there is an incident underway near North Wales and Wellington roads on Jan. 5 where an armed person is barricaded inside a house.
A spokesperson for the county’s Department of Public Safety told NBC10 that shots were fired by someone inside the house.
No word yet on what caused the police activity at the house or how long the scene will remain active.
