Crews tackle ‘well-involved’ fire on snow plow truck along I-476 in Broomall

Firefighters in Broomall faced flames erupting from a snow plow truck along I-476 in Broomall on Monday night, officials said.

In a social media post, the Broomall Fire Company shared dramatic images of flames bursting from a snow plow truck after it caught fire along I-476 in Broomall on Monday night.

According to fire officials, crews responded to the scene to find a “well-involved” fire tearing through the engine compartment of the snow plow truck.

But, they said, the flames were quickly placed under control.

Officials said no one was injured in this incident.

PennDOT and the Pa. State Police are conducting an investigation into this fire, officials said.
