A man was delivering pizza on Friday night when someone jumped into his running car and drove off leading police on a chase through Philadelphia.
The delivery driver, who identified himself as Tony, told NBC10 that he dropped off a pizza to an apartment when he turned around and saw someone driving away with his SUV on Jan. 30.
“Somebody get in the car and run away with my car. I called 911,” Tony said.
NBC10 crews were along 18th street when they watched the SUV speed down the road followed by at least one cop car around 8 p.m.
Eventually, the SUV crashed near the intersection of 18th and Cherry streets and knocked over a fire hydrant and park bench before smashing into a flower pot.

One woman and her friends were walking back to their hotel from the nearby Wawa when they saw the police activity.
“We don’t come to Philly very often so this is a little overwhelming,” Erin Bennett said. “I hope everybody’s okay.”
A man was seen being taken into custody by officers from the Philadelphia Police Department.
No word yet on if anyone was hurt in this incident or if the man taken into custody will face any charges.
