Firefighters were busy in North Philadelphia early Thursday after flames erupted in an apartment near the intersection of North 12th and Huntingdon streets.
At about 6:15 a.m. on Thursday, NBC10’s SkyForce10 captured images of firefighters working on the roof of the structure along the 2500 block of North 12th Street, with their flashlights beaming through the early morning sunlight, as they worked to extinguish the flames.
Officials did not immediately say if anyone was injured in this incident. Nor did they say what may have started the fire.
But, as of about 6:45 a.m., crews were still working at the scene.
