Body of woman found in water near FDR Park in Philadelphia, police say

The body of a woman was recovered from the water near FDR Park in South Philadelphia, police said.

According to police, on Friday, March 13, at approximately 1 p.m., the body of a woman was recovered from the water. Medics pronounced the person dead at the scene.

The woman’s body was taken to the medical examiner’s office to determine the cause of death, according to police.
