Video shows the moment a man attacked a crossing guard in Darby Borough, Pennsylvania.
The incident occurred Monday, March 16, around 3:50 p.m. at the intersection of South 6th and Walnut streets.
Video obtained by NBC10 shows a man running after the crossing guard on the sidewalk. He then briefly stops and stands in front of the crossing guard. The man then punches the crossing guard in the face, knocking the victim to the ground, before running off.
Police have not revealed the crossing guard’s condition but described them as someone who “works daily to keep our children and neighbors safe.”
