The City of Brotherly Love is set to transform into the “ultimate World Cup watch destination.”
Philadelphia is one of the cities hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and on Thursday, Philadelphia Soccer 2026, together with the City of Philadelphia, shared more information about the FIFA Fan Festival, which will take place at Lemon Hill in East Fairmount Park.
From June 11 to July 19, the festival is set to offer 39 days of programming that brings together soccer and culture, giving supporters the best place outside the stadiums to watch matches live, “welcoming the world with a Philly phlavor.”
Fans can dive into massive, hands-on experiences, from interactive games and share-worthy photo ops to exclusive product samples, exciting giveaways, and plenty of surprises.
At the festival’s core, a rotating lineup of local food trucks will showcase the flavors of the region, spotlighting small, diverse, and independent businesses.
But the excitement does not stop there. There will be a Vendor Village featuring a curated marketplace of local makers, artists, and artisans offering handmade goods and original merchandise.

Whether it is a match day or not, the celebration will continue with ticketed concerts, cultural programming, and community events.
“The City of Philadelphia is fully committed to making FIFA Fan Festival the heartbeat of our FIFA World Cup experience,” Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker shared in a news release. “We have brought together City agencies, our parks system, and local partners to activate Lemon Hill in a way that reflects the best of Philadelphia—welcoming, vibrant, and truly for everyone. FIFA Fan Festival is where the city shows up for its residents and the world, and we want every person who walks through those gates to feel the pride and energy that makes Philadelphia unlike any other Host City in North America.”

The festival will be free and open to the public, with entry managed through an online registration platform.
Festivalgoers are encouraged to arrive on foot where possible, but public transportation options will be available through SETA and the Philly PHLASH season transit loop.
“We really encourage people not to drive to Fan Fest because there’s nowhere to park. They should take public transportation, walk, or bike. There will be dedicated rideshare drop-off and pick-up zones that will be announced, but driving is really the worst way to come here,” said Michael Delbene of Philadelphia Soccer 2026.
NBC10 spoke to soccer lover Juelle Love, who grew up in Philadelphia, but now plays for the Puerto Rican National Team, about the festival.
“I’m so excited for summer, growing up in Philly, being a native. It means so much more to me that it’s a full circle, bringing soccer to the community and showing the beauty of the sport and how much it’s given me. So I’m glad FIFA can come here and give that to everyone else,” said Love.
Organizers hope that the FIFA Fan Festival will contribute to the long-term revitalization of Lemon Hill.
Upgrades are already underway in preparation for the festival, including the installation of sidewalks and ADA-accessible ramps, the removal of invasive plant species, and roadway improvements.
Then, following the tournament, additional park enhancements will be completed, including basketball courts and the playground.
