A man died following a standoff with police at a home in Northampton County, Pennsylvania, a coroner confirmed with NBC10.
The incident occurred Wednesday afternoon along the 2400 block of Apple Butter Road in Lower Saucon Township. Footage from SkyForce10 showed police and SWAT officers outside of the home.
Later during the day, the Lehigh County Coroner confirmed that a man was shot and killed during a standoff with police. The coroner did not reveal the man’s identity but said an autopsy will be performed on Thursday, March 26.
Investigators have not revealed what led to the standoff or shooting.
