Car overturns into embankment off of West Chester Pike on Saturday: Officials

A car overturned into an embankment off of West Chester Pike in Newtown Square on Saturday night, the fire company for the township said in a social media post.

The incident occurred after a three-car crash on the turnpike near Plumsock Road at around 8:30 p.m., officials said.

Photos shared by the Newtown Square Fire Company also showed the car on fire in the embankment.

No word yet on any injuries or a cause for the crash at this time, but NBC10 is working to learn more and will provide updates here when they are available.
