$30,000 worth of cars stolen from South Jersey used auto dealer

A car dealer in Camden County is hoping $30,000 worth of cars stolen from his lot are found after a group of thieves methodically broke into his business over the weekend.

Tarek Saifo, who owns Saifo Auto Sales in Oaklyn, said that two BMWs and an Infinti, along with a TV and some tools, were stolen and he doesn’t have insurance.

“If these cars aren’t recovered, we’re out over $30,000,” he said.

Surveillance video showed the thieves break into the lot and then office, where they grabbed keys and got away with the high-end vehicles.

“It’s really hard as a small business, you work your whole life to build this, and then overnight someone steals $30,000 from you,” Saifo said. “Devastating.”

Saifo said he has filed a police report.
