A drug trafficking ring in Philadelphia was found to have 1,000 suspected fentanyl pills, 950 grams of cocaine, 200 pound of psilocybin mushrooms and other paraphernalia, Middleton Township police said on Tuesday.
In all, four people — three of them are from Philly and the other Glassboro, New Jersey — were arrested and taken to the Middletown Township Police Department, who uncovered the ring after several controlled buys in the Bucks County municipality, police said.
Search warrants that were executed at each suspect’s home on Monday, March 30, resulted in the seizure of the previously mentioned drugs, along with 40 pounds of marijuana, 141 Xanax pills, three handguns, a 2021 Ford Raptor pickup truck, several high-end designer handbags, $31,044 in cash and other drug paraphernalia, police said.
The suspects — 52-year-old Tuan Ricca, 45-year-old Soksan Hao, 35-year-old Vo Minh Thu and 27-year-old Summer Kim — were all unable to post bail as of Tuesday afternoon and remain locked up at the Bucks County Correctional Facility, police said.
The DEA, Pennsylvania State Police, New Jersey State Police, Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office and the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office all assisted in the investigation, police said.
