Man seriously hurt after stabbing in Philly on Tuesday night, police say

A man is in critical condition after getting stabbed multiple times in North Philadelphia on Tuesday evening, police said.

The incident happened at around 7:40 p.m. at the 1200 block of N. 27th Street, police said.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man with multiple stab wounds, police said. He was then taken to the hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.

The man’s identity has not been released.

One person has been taken into custody, but the motive is still being determined, police said.

The Philadelphia Police Department’s Central Division is handling the investigation.
