A Bucks County man was sentenced on Wednesday to 65 to 135 years in state prison after he drugged and raped 12 women he met on dating sites over a six-year period.
The sentencing for Andrew Gallo, 41, came after he entered a no contest plea in December to more than 36 charges, including 10 felony counts each of rape of an impaired person and strangulation, and a felony drug charge.
“You treated these women like trash,” Bucks County Common Pleas Court Judge Stephen Corr told Gallo as he handed him his sentence. “I believe each one of these women deserve justice.”

Gallo was arrested in September 2024 following allegations that he had drugged at least six women that he met on the online dating site, sugardaddymeet.com.
“This defendant invited women to his home in Bristol Township, where he surreptitiously hid dangerous drugs in alcohol. He provided that alcohol to his victims, which rendered his victims so impaired that they were unable to consent to anything, let alone sexual acts,” Jennifer Schorn, former Bucks County District Attorney, said in 2024 following Gallo’s arrest.
Officials said Gallo was also physically abusive to his victims, saying he choked some of them until they lost consciousness.
Further investigation revealed more victims of Gallo’s crimes. According to prosecutors, between 2018 and 2024, Gallo targeted 12 women, ranging from 17 to 35 years old.
Many of Gallo’s victims appeared in court during his sentencing.
During the sentencing hearing, First Assistant Attorney Kristin McElroy argued that Gallo should be sentenced for 12 different victims to reflect the individual trauma of each of them. McElroy also issued a warning that if Gallo had not been stopped, “this would have continued and additional victims would have fallen to this defendant.”
During the proceedings, Gallo spoke on his own behalf and argued that he had an addiction to drugs and sex. However, McElroy dismissed any notion of mitigating factors, including defense arguments regarding the nature of the websites.
“The defendant took away these women’s ability to consent when he gave them those drugs,” McElroy said.
In addition to his prison sentence, Gallo was also deemed a “sexually violent predator,” which requires him to register as a tier 3 offender for the rest of his life.
