Peacock on the loose, roaming Montgomery County neighborhood

Have you ever seen a peacock strutting its stuff in your neighborhood?

Police in Montgomery County were called to the intersection of Frederick and Robert roads in Lower Moreland Township for reports of a peacock on the loose.

Officers with the Lower Moreland Township Police Department were unable to capture the bird so they talked to wildlife experts who said the peacock should return to its home eventually on its own.

Anyone who might see the peacock is urged to not try capturing it because it could become aggressive, police said.
