Police in Montgomery County are looking for a driver and her car after she hit a kid riding a bicycle earlier this week, according to the Hatboro Police Department.
The crash happened at the intersection of South York and School roads on Monday, March 30 in Hatboro, police said.
Officers were called to the scene after it was reported that a car had hit a pedestrian, officials explained.
When the officers got to the intersection, they said the vehicle had already left the area.
The car in question was described as a black SUV with a license plate that begins with “MTX” and it was being driven by a woman, officials said.
Investigators reported finding surveillance video that captured the incident.
In the video, investigators said you can see a child riding a bicycle in the middle of the intersection when the black SUV hits them.
Then, the video shows the SUV pull over briefly before driving away northbound on South York Road.
