Man killed after shooting in Philly’s University City, police say

Police are on scene after a reported shooting left a man dead on Monday.

The shooting happened near the intersection of 40th and Market streets in the University City section of Philadelphia on Monday, April 6.

SkyForce10 was over the scene around 5:15 p.m. where yellow police tape was visible around a couple of stores as several police cars were parked outside.

NBC10 crews at the scene saw officers going into the 40th and Market Grocery store as a pair of shoes could be seen in the entry way.
