13-year-old killed, 14-year-old hurt in Philly shooting, police say

A 13-year-old was killed and a 14-year-old was hurt following a double shooting in the West Oak Lane neighborhood of Philadelphia on Tuesday night, police said.

The shooting occurred at around 8:45 p.m. at the 7100 block of North 19th Street, police said.

The 14-year-old is listed as in stable but critical condition at the hospital, police said.

No suspects are in custody and no motives have been determined, but it is believed that the shooting occurred after an altercation at a makeshift basketball court, police said.
