A 19-year-old man was killed after he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a wall in North Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon, police said.
The single-vehicle crash happened at around 2:34 p.m. on Roosevelt Boulevard near the Ridge Avenue ramp, police said.
According to police, the man was riding at a high rate of speed when he crashed.
The man suffered severe bodily trauma and was pronounced dead at the hospital at around 3:15 p.m., police said.
Police are withholding the victim’s name until they notify the next of kin and the crash remains under investigation.
