Police are investigating, officials said, after two people were shot in an incident that happened early Monday at a nursing home in Egg Harbor Township.
According to officials, the incident happened before 7 a.m. at the Excelcare at Egg Harbor nursing home, located along the 6800 block of Delilah Road in Egg Harbor Township on Monday.
Officials did not immediately say who may have been involved in this incident, if an arrest had been made, what led to the shooting or the conditions of those who had been shot.
But, they did note that all of the residents of the home were considered safe following the shooting.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
