Human remains found inside bag in Brooklyn building basement

Human remains were found inside the basement of an apartment building in Brooklyn, police sources said Sunday.

Police said they received the call for an unconscious person off Bushwick Avenue in East Williamsburg just before 10 a.m. When they arrived, they discovered the remains of a woman.

Sources said the remains were found in a bag, inside the basement of the building.

The city medical examiner will determine the woman’s cause of death.

So far, there have been no arrests.
