A U.S. Postal Service worker is accused of shoving a child, in an incident that was captured on camera.
Video obtained by the Monsey Scoop appears to show the worker approaching the 4-year-old, then pushing him to the ground. The confrontation happened Friday around 6:30 p.m. in Rockland County on Garden Terrace, off Viola Road in Monsey.
The Town of Ramapo Police Department identified the suspect as Gabriel Stan, 39, of Stony Point, NY
The child was standing nearby as mail was delivered. Witnesses say Stan began yelling before he turned to the boy. He has been charged with Attempted Assault in the Second Degree, a felony, and is expected to appear before a judge at a later date.
