The Averill Park girls basketball team had it’s run of 10 straight section titles stopped last year. This year, the Warriors enter the Section 2 Class A playoffs as a four seed. The young Averill Park team went 8-11 in the regular season. They had no problem in the opening round of the playoffs on Monday night.
