Seiya Suzuki, the Chicago Cubs’ slugging outfielder, suffered a strained posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) injury while playing for Team Japan in the World Baseball Classic, but the Cubs are optimistic about his recovery and will wait until the weekend before Opening Day to decide if he will be available to start the regular season.
