Draymond Green is known for getting into some heated altercations on the court, including trash-talking many of his opponents and being hit with technical fouls.
However, he won’t allow others to inaccurately add his name to the conversation about specific trash talk, especially involving a player’s family. The Golden State Warriors star recently addressed a multi-time Los Angeles Lakers champion, bringing his name up in a discussion about Luka Doncic’s on-court clash with the Orlando Magic’s Goga Bitadze.
In a matchup between the Lakers and Magic several days ago, Luka and Goga got into it, with the latter allegedly speaking some insulting trash talk to Luka about his family in another language. That back-and-forth eventually brought a technical for Luka, which would’ve also seen him suspended for one game since it was his 16th technical of the NBA season.

However, the league reviewed the incident, and that technical foul was rescinded, meaning Luka is still active to participate in games with his team.
However, the fallout became heavily discussed, including seven-time NBA champion Robert Horry bringing up Green’s name in his postgame remarks about Luka’s incident.
Once Green learned that his name was part of the conversation, he fired back with his thoughts about the situation, including calling out Horry for mentioning him.
“Goga Bitadze said he would f*** his whole family up. At some point, I can’t stand for that; I got to stand up for myself. Robert Horry goes on the show and brings me up in the conversation. Maybe I think he wanted some attention. So, everybody, let’s give him the attention he deserves. But I don’t know what I had to do with this,” Green said on his “Draymond Show.”
Horry previously spent 16 years in the league, playing for the Houston Rockets, Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles Lakers, and San Antonio Spurs. While in the NBA, he won seven rings as a member of the Rockets, Lakers, and Spurs.
The retired NBA star now appears on Spectrum Sportsnet Live pregame, halftime, and postgame coverage for Lakers games, along with other Lakers greats, including Derek Fisher and James Worthy. During postgame remarks about Luka’s incident, he briefly mentioned Green.
“I always laugh because I’ve watched certain players- I ain’t gonna call out any names,” he said, putting a hand over his face to fake a cough and muttering “Draymond Green,” adding, “says things to the refs and they let it slide.”
“But when you say things to another player and there’s no pushing or shoving, you wanna call a double technical?” Horry asked, saying that it didn’t register with him why they do that.
Draymond has won four NBA championships with the Warriors and has become known as a player who can develop a quick temper in parts of games. He’s also been seen engaging in a lot of trash talk with other players, so he clearly knows how intense it can get during competition.
