A man was critically injured after police officers found him shot in Englewood early Friday morning, according to Chicago police.
Officers were patrolling near the 6600 block of South Halsted Street at 12:58 a.m. when they heard shots and found a 19-year-old who had been shot in the abdomen, police said in a statement. He was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition.
Police reported no arrest.
