Growing up in Providence, R.I., and now living in Boston, it’s always meant a great deal to compete in the Boston Marathon.

I think about my grandparents who immigrated to Boston from Greece.

When they arrived, they put their family on their backs to pave the way for my parents and me to have a great life in the United States.

I previously completed the Boston Marathon in 2023, and it was one of the most special moments in my life.

To be able to give back to people in need means everything to me.

I appreciate the Stepping Strong Charity and Brigham and Women’s Hospital for giving me the opportunity to help others through the Boston Marathon.

This will be my 20th career marathon, and there is nothing like the finish line on Boylston Street.

I truly appreciate everyone who supports the charity and my run.
