We now know when one of the biggest trailers in entertainment history is about to drop.
No, not “Dune: Part Three.”
Or “Avengers: Doomsday.”
It’s a television series.
And no, it’s nothing to do with the “Game of Thrones” universe.
After years of anticipation since HBO announced a “Harry Potter” series spanning seven seasons for each of the mainline books, we got our first official glimpse of the series on Tuesday.
The photo shows the back of Dominic McLaughlin, portraying Harry Potter, clad in a Gryffindor Quidditch cloak as he embarks onto the grounds for either a game or practice.
McLaughlin beat out over 30,000 other actors to take the mantle of Potter from Daniel Radcliffe, who has been mightily supportive of the young actor since being cast as one of the most famous roles in all of storytelling.

While the excitement has built with the photo, breaking down every little thing about it from the banners hanging to the bystanders hanging in the background, the fans want to know: when is the first trailer coming?
Luckily for fans, they will not have to wait long to fully immerse themselves in the new world of “Harry Potter,” as HBO is set to release the first teaser on Wednesday, March 25th.
While the first season of the new HBO show will adapt the “Sorcerer’s Stone,” interviews with the creators and actors alike have already announced that they will expand the show’s world with the extra runtime afforded by the television format.
Be the first to see the Wizarding World in a whole new light when the first teaser drops tomorrow.
