When the end credits roll on Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat, viewers will be left speechless, sobbing, and awe-struck over the fact that this exceptionally talented team captured lighting in a bottle TWICE.
Jury Duty Season 1’s hero Ronald Gladden set the bar sky high in terms of wholesome, patient, kindhearted humans. And without even knowing the assignment, Season 2’s hero Anthony Norman understood it perfectly.
On top of helping plan a rockin’ retreat for the fictional family-owned hot sauce company, Rockin’ Grandma’s, the 25-year-old dad from Nashville, Tennessee consistently navigated Season 2’s meticulously choreographed chaos and setbacks with joy, humor, and heart. Once again, Jury Duty is helping restore viewers’ faith in humanity. So naturally, fans are begging for more!
So will there be a Jury Duty Season 3 on Prime Video? What would Jury Duty Season 3 be about? When would Jury Duty Season 3 premiere? And when is the Jury Duty Season 2 reunion? Here’s everything to know about the future of Jury Duty and Company Retreat‘s reunion and commentary episodes, including quotes from our interview with Season 2 star Alex Bonifer (aka Dougie Jr.).
Will There Be A Jury Duty Season 3 On Prime Video? Jury Duty Season 2’s Alex Bonifer Weighs In
As of Jury Duty‘s Season 2 finale day, April 3, Prime Video has yet to officially renew the series for a Season 3. But that’s not to say a renewal isn’t coming! Season 1 was an Emmy-nominated sensation, Season 2 premiered to critical acclaim, and the Season 3 potential feels unlimited! We’ll likely get more in finale post-mortem interviews with creators and producers, and potentially from Jury Duty‘s Season 2 reunion next week. (More on that below!) But for now, here’s what Jury Duty Season 2 star Alex Bonifer said when asked his thoughts on a Season 3.
“I think the team of creatives behind the Jury Duty franchise is capable of anything. So absolutely [Season 3],” Bonifer told DECIDER. “I think they will come up with something that even tops what we did, and keep building that.”

What Would Jury Duty Season 3 Be About?
To keep things fresh, the team likely wouldn’t repeat a courtroom or company retreat setting. Since they’d ideally need their hero to be phone-free and confined to specific location for filming, they’ll have to get extra creative when crafting the next social experiment. But Bonifer has complete faith in their ability to deliver another winning season. There’s just one stipulation…
“The only thing is, they would never be able to pick a woman to be the hero,” Bonifer told DECIDER. “Women are too smart. There’s no way. There’s no way. So fellas out there, stay dumb just like me. Sorry, ladies. You’re too smart. You’re too intuitive and too intellectual.”
In addition to a third season of the meticulously orchestrated hybrid series, Bonifer sees potential for a scripted Jury Duty comedy. “This is based on nothing, but I want to put this out into the ether. Our show has been called the real life Office or real life Parks and Rec, and I think, ‘Wow, what a fun world it would be to explore that, to continue the Rockin’ Grandma’s universe in a scripted sense, and really get to know these characters,” Bonifer told DECIDER. “Think of all the adventures we could go on in a scripted Rockin’ Grandma’s series. That’s not in the works, I’m just putting that out there for any of the EPs that want to listen.”
