A Massachusetts police officer is running the Boston Marathon for veterans

An integral part of my life is giving back. I am running the 2026 Boston Marathon to give back to true heroes of this nation – veterans and military members.

For this Boston Marathon runner, the starting line is everything

We owe a debt to our nation’s service members that we can never fully repay, but we can certainly try.

It is an absolute honor to run for Semper Fi & America’s Fund.

This will be my third Boston Marathon as a charity runner. I’ve run for two other amazing charities, but this one hits closer to home. So many of my family members and loved ones are veterans or actively serving – many have gone on combat deployments, been diagnosed with PTSD, and humbly believe they don’t need any recognition.

Heroes.

I am a police officer here in Massachusetts. I am also a high school cross country and track coach, a Special Olympics track coach, and I am the founder/leader of my own small non-profit that maintains a focus around veterans and fallen police officers, as well as our nation’s homeless population.

I have run numerous other races for charities too and through my running I have collectively raised over $40,000.

My why is my loved ones who have served this country and to be the change – running is just one of the ways I can do that, it is also something I love.
