Kemuel St. Juste, of Wheatley Heights, is accused of using the social media app to lure one teen to the bathroom of a TJ Maxx in South Setauket, where they had sex in December 2024, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office said.
He’s also accused of picking the girl up from her middle school in early January 2025 and having sex with her in the backseat of his car. That same month, St. Juste allegedly tried to convince the teen into giving him oral sex after she asked him to get her a pregnancy test. Worried she was pregnant, prosecutors said the girl told her mother what had happened.
In June of last year, St. Juste used Snapchat to communicate with another 14-year-old girl he’d earlier met at Smiths Point Beach, prosecutors allege. Knowing the girl was a high school sophomore, the defendant later drove her to Port Jefferson and had sex with her in a parking lot, according to the indictment against him.
The second victim reported the incident to police in January.
In both instances, St. Juste is accused of using the Snapchat handle “k3mnyy,” which prosecutors said helped investigators link the two cases.
St. Juste was indicted last Friday on three counts of rape, one count of attempted rape and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. He was ordered held on $750,000 cash bail or $3 million bond.
“The charges detail a disturbing pattern of grooming and sexual assault against vulnerable minors, whom he is alleged to have manipulated,” Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney said in a statement. “Our office is committed to ensuring that he is held fully accountable and that these young victims receive the justice they deserve.”
The defendant faces up to seven years in prison if convicted on the top count. St. Juste is due back in court on March 25.
