Man fatally shot in West Town

A man was fatally shot early Saturday in the West Town neighborhood.

The man, 34, was in an alleyway in the 1600 block of West Ohio Street around 12:40 a.m. when he was shot multiple times in the body, Chicago police said.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Area 3 detectives were investigating.
